ROBERTO PORTALES

Hello, my name is Roberto. Born and raised in Tampa, FL, I began playing sports at 4 years old and played football and wrestling at Jesuit High School.  I graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 2011, earning a commission as an Army Officer.  In May of 2012, I deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where I served as the platoon leader for a multifunctional intelligence platoon. In Afghanistan, I led my platoon on combat missions to capture high value individuals. Following my deployment, I served as the aide-de-camp for the Deputy Commanding General of 7th Infantry Division.  I finished my military service as a Counterintelligence Special Agent, protecting the US against spies, terrorists, and foreign intelligence threats.  While training to become a special agent, I began competing in men’s physique and remain very active in the fitness community.  I teach health, fitness, and nutrition courses in my online school: Roberto's School.  In April 2016, I transitioned out of the Army at the rank of Captain and currently work for a global Information Technology company as an IT Services Sales Executive and actor in film, television, and commercials.
